Carer

• Assist individuals with personal care needs, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Support service users with medication prompts and administration, following care plans and protocols
• Help with meal preparation and ensuring nutritional needs are met
• Encourage and support social participation and community engagement to enhance quality of life
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and report any changes in health or behaviour
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support services
• Uphold health and safety standards and respect confidentiality at all times
• Respond to emergencies calmly and effectively, providing reassurance and assistance as needed

• Previous experience in a caring role within health, nursing, or social care is highly desirable
• A caring and compassionate nature with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of health and safety and safeguarding principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to accommodate varied shift patterns, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and development opportunities
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous but not essential
