As a Night Carer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our service users during the night hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing. You will work as part of a dedicated team within a caring environment focused on promoting independence and dignity for all residents.
Job Responsibility:
Provide high-quality personal care and support to service users during night shifts, including assistance with hygiene, mobility, and medication reminders
Monitor the health and wellbeing of residents, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and confidential records of care and observations in line with organisational policies
Support service users in maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment
Respond calmly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents during the night
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure continuity of care
Promote a respectful and positive atmosphere, encouraging service users’ independence and engagement.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a health, nursing, or social care role is desirable but not essential
full training will be provided
Basic understanding of health and safety and safeguarding principles
Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine commitment to providing quality care
Willingness to undertake relevant training and continuous professional development.
