Job Responsibility:

Providing professional, non-clinical personal care and caregiving services to enable clients to remain healthy and independent in their home and community settings
Assist with instrumental activities of daily living while encouraging self-care and independence

Requirements:

Desire to contribute to the well-being and quality of life of our clients
Competent in providing direct care to clients including: Bathing/grooming/dressing/toileting
Personal hygiene improvement & maintenance
Transferring/ambulation assistance
Medication reminders
Maintains a clean, comfortable, and safe living environment
Transportation, as requested/approved
Meal preparation
Housekeeping & laundry
Grocery Shopping
Supports completion of activities of daily living
Ability to contribute to a client’s quality of life by influencing: Patient Safety
Good hygiene
Healthy eating
Medication adherence
Clean home environments
Happiness
Decreased social isolation via companionship
Improved mental health via engaging daily activities
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to identify and escalate unsafe or inappropriate home and community conditions

Comfort working in and respecting diverse work environments in client homes
