Job Description:

We are seeking a Careers Leader to join our Careers Team. This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) with a salary range of £34,309–£37,487 per annum.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take operational responsibility for leading and implementing the College’s Careers Education strategy
  • Ensure an engaging and comprehensive careers information, advice, and guidance programme is embedded across the College, aligned with learners’ interests and aspirations
  • Work collaboratively with Heads of Department, curriculum teams, and external partners to deliver a structured, age-appropriate, and personalised careers programme that supports all learners and apprentices—including those who are disadvantaged or have SEND or high needs—to make informed decisions about their future pathways

Requirements:

  • Level 7 Careers Leader qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance
  • Level 2 English and maths
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and delivering effective careers strategies
