Job Responsibility:
Provide effective and high-quality careers information, advice and guidance to learners across the college in accordance with the College’s careers guidance strategy
work alongside the wider Careers and Progression Team and work closely with teaching and support staff to develop students' careers and progression
have a specific focus on students with support needs, such as those with EHCPs, whilst being on hand to deal with any Careers IAG needs from other students on a daily basis
Requirements:
Flexibility and a motivated approach to offering careers guidance and support
recent experience of providing information, advice and guidance
up to date knowledge of careers frameworks and support
hold a Level 6 or above qualification in Careers Guidance
experience of the issues facing young people with barriers to their learning and progression
