Job Description:

Part-time Careers Adviser position in Willesden, London, working 15 hours per week during term time only (40 weeks per year). The role involves providing career guidance to students, delivering assemblies, maintaining records, and building relationships with external partners to support students' career development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with Careers Leads to design and implement a high-impact careers programme aligned with statutory guidance
  • Plan and deliver engaging careers assemblies that broaden students' awareness of post-16 and post-18 options
  • Provide tailored career guidance through one-to-one and group sessions, empowering students to make informed decisions
  • Maintain accurate student records on Unifrog and track aspirations for strategic planning
  • Build strong relationships with external partners to enrich career opportunities
  • Engage parents and carers in the careers guidance process
  • Facilitate employer encounters that inspire students
  • Attend key events to provide on-the-spot careers support
  • Share best practises and contribute to team development

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Level 6 Qualification in Careers Guidance
  • Proven experience in delivering impartial career guidance
  • A proactive approach and excellent time management skills
  • Experience in delivering assemblies
  • A genuine interest in people's education
