Job Description:

Active Boulder Family Seeking A Career Nanny. Long-term position for 1+ year. Care for 3 children ages 5, 2 and newborn. Family loves outdoor activities and values healthy living, direct communication, and positive energy. Must be pet friendly (two dogs).

Job Responsibility:

  • Staying on routine, supporting milestone development, planning age-appropriate activities, organizational projects, light housekeeping, meal prep, family laundry, dishes, errands and other household tasks
  • Approximately 85% of time will focus on childcare, with the remainder supporting the household as needed
  • Travel with the family approximately 8-12 weeks annually, both domestic and international

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations including tdap
  • 5 years of professional childcare experience with newborns, infants, and toddlers
  • Previous experience with household management duties
  • Experience with multiple children
  • Must be confident swimming and comfortable around water
  • Must be comfortable driving in the snow on mountain passes and in a large SUV

Nice to have:

  • French speaking is highly desired and would be a huge competitive advantage
  • The ideal candidate is calm, trustworthy, professional, solution-oriented, and comfortable with direct communication
