The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska and Carl T. Curtis Health Education Center will offer valued work experience within a tribal and healthcare environment to college students. This program aims to provide summer opportunities and positive work training experiences, as well as to identify and track potential full-time employment candidates among prospective tribal members. Each intern will work within a designated department of OTN and CTCHEC, under the guidance of a supervisor or coach based on their educational goals and interests.
Job Responsibility:
Attend and participate in orientation and training sessions
Assist in day-to-day tasks and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or coach
Follow established guidelines and procedures for completing tasks
Develop and enhance skills in the designated field of work
Attend and participate in meetings and events related to the department's activities
Maintain accurate records and document activities as needed
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Participate in regular feedback sessions with the supervisor or coach to identify areas for improvement and growth
Demonstrate a positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic at all times
Complete any additional duties or projects as assigned by the supervisor or coach
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
