We are looking for a new colleague to join our UE Service Center Team in Dubai on a part- time basis of 20 hours a week starting as soon as possible. The opportunity: UE´s mission is to provide students with excellent and relevant education and the knowledge and skills they need to assert themselves in their professional lives as entrepreneurial thinkers and doers. Thus, career entry not only requires a timely and completed course of study but also a strategy for how and where students and graduates can apply for jobs. The Career Development Center is the central interface between studies and companies. The Center supports UE departments in preparing students for their transition into professional life and to the labour market. We also serve as a point of contact for employers and associations looking for interns, graduates, or for support in practical projects. To prepare our students for the contemporary world of work and to support their career plans, job advertisements are published and students are provided with support in building their career portfolio.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build up and maintain company and partner networks
  • Maintain alumni contacts
  • Implement programs and initiatives to connect students and graduates to companies, e.g. recruiting events and company excursions
  • Support students to build strong employability skills through workshops and lectures with both internal and external partners
  • Advise and support students in their career goals and in building their skills and career portfolio
  • Inform students and provide them with support regarding their mandatory internship
  • Insert data and maintain the internal career portal (events, job postings, company profiles)
  • Recognize student needs in relation to Career Development, evaluating programs and initiatives to be able to improve services to students
  • Collaborate in and with the UE Service Center Team: provide support within a timely manner (answering general questions on various topics through various means of communication - email, in person, drop-in workshops etc.)
