Choices Homecare are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our day team in Southport. We are currently looking for 2-3 full-time care worker to support individuals within one of our 24-hour care services. While we are a domiciliary care provider, this role is not a home-to-home (community-based) position. Instead, you will be based in one dedicated 24-hour package, providing consistent, person-centred support in a single setting. Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm OR 7.00pm - 7.00am (Waking Night). Contract: Full-time (minimum 3 shifts per week). Working Pattern: Must be able to work alternative weekends and bank holidays. Travel: Applicants must be able to reliably travel to and from the service location.
Job Responsibility
Supporting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
Assisting with medication administration and documentation
Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition and hydration
Promoting independence and daily living skills
Building positive relationships with service users and families
Supporting emotional wellbeing and recognising changes in behaviour
Maintaining accurate records and effective communication
Ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Upholding confidentiality and professional boundaries
Requirements

Experience is preferred but not essential – full training provided
