Job Description:

Consensus is a community of amazing people dedicated to inspiring and empowering people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Deansbrook is a fun and lively service set in the peaceful rural location of the Essex Countryside. People living here enjoy the beautiful landscape, taking walks to explore the natural beauty, and getting stuck into fun scavenger hunts. The unique residential service offers shared communal spaces for people to gain independence and be supported to learn daily living skills and home management, but with larger communal spaces for activities and socialising.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a team and provide exceptional care
  • Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities
  • Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities, and celebrate special occasions
  • Lead the team to communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too

Requirements:

Experience in the social care sector as either a Mental Health Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant
