£13.70 per hour | Full Time – 42 Hours per Week | Wharfedale House – Wetherby, West Yorkshire. “It’s about leading by example – supporting the team so they can give the very best care every single day.” That’s how one of our Team Leaders describes their role. A home with heart Wharfedale House is a welcoming home for 18 adults with physical disabilities, located in the market town of Wetherby, West Yorkshire. Our residents benefit from a supportive, person-centred environment that prioritises independence and quality of life.

Job Responsibility:

Lead with passion and enthusiasm, ensuring residents receive high-quality care and support
Support customers with daily tasks and help them achieve their individual aspirations
Promote independence through personalised care planning
Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of Support Workers
Work collaboratively with residents, families, and colleagues to provide excellent care

Requirements:

NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Previous supervisory experience in a care setting
Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota
Creative and proactive approach to supporting residents
