Job Description:

Care Team Leader role at Langford View Care Home in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Part-time hours available with shift times 06:45-14:15 and 14:00-22:15 and working alternative weekends. The role involves leading a team to deliver outstanding care to residents in a specialist residential, nursing, early-stage dementia and respite care home for up to 60 residents.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a small team to deliver outstanding care
  • Plan and implement care giving residents security, dignity, and independence
  • Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Manage time between supporting team and ensuring resident wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a residential care setting
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care OR NVQ Level 2 with willingness to study for Level 3
  • Positive role model with excellent communication skills
  • Natural ability to get along with others
  • Supportive individual able to motivate others
  • Confident taking charge and using own initiative to resolve problems
