Job Description:

As a Bank Care Support Worker at KIMS Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the nursing team within outpatient and clinical settings. You will help ensure patients receive high-quality, compassionate care aligned with the KIMS vision of “championing healthcare at its best”. This role is ideal for someone patient-focused, adaptable, and committed to excellent standards of care and patient experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support patients before, during and after clinic appointments, ensuring comfort, dignity and reassurance at all times
  • Monitor and record basic clinical observations such as temperature, pulse, respirations and weight, maintaining accurate patient records
  • Assist with patient admission and registration processes and act as a chaperone when required
  • Prepare and maintain clinical equipment, treatment areas and supplies to ensure smooth running of clinics
  • Champion infection prevention and control, patient safety, confidentiality and KIMS values in all aspects of your work

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a care environment within the last 3 years
  • Caring, compassionate approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries

Nice to have:

  • Flexibility to work across different departments and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Basic IT/keyboard skills
