Job Description

Join our friendly, supportive and inclusive team at Mayflower Court to help us make a real difference in the lives of our service users. Mayflower Court is our modern purpose-built care home in Norwich, part of the Bowthorpe Care Village. The home provides short-term and full-time care and support, specialising in care and support for people living with dementia.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with personal care and support tasks
  • Enable service users to make informed choices, promoting their independence and dignity in line with their person-centred care plan
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and service users
  • Participate and support with wellbeing events and activities
  • Help promote a safe and engaging environment
  • Respond to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner
  • Communicate with other medical professionals and community stakeholders as required

Requirements

  • Experience in care or new to the industry
  • Passion for supporting others by providing excellent care

  • Current good practice in care and the principles of dignity, privacy, independence, choice and fulfilment
