Job Description

Provide high-quality care and support to residents during the day, ensuring their wellbeing, dignity, and independence in a friendly, inclusive environment at Bridgewater House, London.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver compassionate personal care tailored to individual needs
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, washing, and mobility
  • Monitor and record care plans, updating documentation accurately
  • Support residents with meals and ensure nutritional needs are met
  • Encourage engagement in social and recreational activities
  • Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment at all times
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Follow safeguarding and health & safety policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Experience in care or support work, ideally in a residential setting
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to respecting residents' privacy, dignity, and choices
  • Ability to work flexibly on a rota, including weekends and public holidays
  • Positive, patient, and empathetic attitude
  • Right to work in the UK
