We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team on a bank basis, supporting a client based in Barrow in Furness with his complex heath needs. You’ll spend your whole shift with one person, no travelling between sites, just focused, meaningful support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support with complex health needs including tracheostomy care
  • Assisting clients in their daily routines including personal care
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Helping with household tasks and meal preparation
  • Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities
  • Administering medication when required

Requirements:

  • A caring and empathetic nature
  • Good communication skills
  • A genuine desire to support others
  • Basic IT and record-keeping skills
  • A full UK driving licence is advantageous
  • Previous experience is helpful but not essential
  • A good standard of spoken and written English is essential
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, with documentation valid for at least 12 months
