Job Description

We are looking for a Care Supervising Solicitor to join our Team in Luton, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a guardian following to work for a Family Law firm specialising in Care proceedings along with mentoring and running your own team.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise and support solicitors, trainees, paralegals and legal assistants within your team
  • Maintain a personal caseload of Care matters
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
  • Conduct files reviews and ensure quality assurance procedures are followed
  • Maintain excellent client care standards and professional conduct

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
  • Children Panel Accreditation – or working towards
  • Experience of mentoring and or managing junior staff
  • Strong advocacy, case management and client care skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the Legal Aid Agency procedures and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage a demanding caseload while supporting a team

  • Solicitor or CILEX qualified experience in the personal injury field technical Fast Track claims
  • Portal experience is essential as a number of the cases referred into the team are stayed and require applications to lift or extend the stay
