Job Description

As Care, Quality and Governance Coordinator, you will take the lead on all aspects of governance and quality assurance within the service. This includes overseeing incident management processes, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and embedding a strong culture of learning and improvement.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading on incident management systems (including Datix)
  • Managing serious incident investigations and reviews
  • Implementing Incident Review Group processes
  • Supporting CQC reporting and notifications
  • Overseeing audits and compliance
  • Developing quality improvement plans
  • Line managing senior practitioners

Requirements

  • Experience in governance, compliance or quality roles, ideally within health, social care or substance use services
  • Experience of incident investigation and audit
  • Understanding of governance frameworks and CQC requirements
  • Strong organisational and workload management skills
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
