Job Description:

Are you an experienced carer or senior carer with the passion to make a difference? Can you lead a small team of people to deliver outstanding care to our residents, whilst encouraging them to always do their best? Our care teams make a real difference every day and your professionalism, teamed with kindness and compassion, will be at the core of everything you do. Supporting the Home Manager, and leading a team of carers, you’ll be responsible for planning and implementing the kind of care that will give our residents a real sense of security, dignity, and independence. You’ll ensure care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You’ll be able to manage your time between supporting your team effectively and ensuring the wellbeing of our residents. Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a small team of people to deliver outstanding care to residents
  • Support the Home Manager and lead a team of carers
  • Plan and implement care giving residents a sense of security, dignity, and independence
  • Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Manage time between supporting the team and ensuring wellbeing of residents

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • achieved NVQ Level 2 prepared to study for NVQ Level 3
  • previous experience of working in a residential care setting
  • positive role model

  • confident taking charge
  • able to use own initiative to resolve problems and deal with queries

Nice to have:

previous supervisory experience like delegating tasks, supporting inductions for new starters and 1 to 1s
