Position: Care Home Worker - Independent Living Shifts Available: 30 to 35 hrs per week. Weekly or Fortnightly Pay and Pension: Most of our sites enjoy the stability of weekly or fortnightly pay and contribute to our stakeholder pension plan. What You Will Do: Provide Personal Care: Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining their dignity and comfort. Support Daily Living: Help residents with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and shopping. Offer Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, helping residents feel less isolated and more connected. Conduct Wellbeing Checks: Make regular wellbeing checks to ensure residents are safe, comfortable, and their needs are being met. Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, including those related to resident privacy, health and safety, and care standards. Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Participate in team meetings and share ideas to enhance our service offerings and care processes. What We are Looking For: Experience in Care: Previous experience in a care role is preferred, but a genuine passion for helping others is essential. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their families, providing exceptional service.
