Job Description

The Care Experience Manager is responsible for overseeing programs and services within the San Francisco Health Network that ensure a comprehensive and consistent experience for patients, residents, clients, and their families. In this role, they will develop and implement data-driven frameworks to enhance the overall care experience. These efforts focus on key areas, including: Care Experience Improvement; Grievances and Concerns; Spiritual Care; Workforce Experience; Volunteer Services; Equity.

Job Responsibility

  • Develops a comprehensive strategy to enhance care experience, aligning with organizational priorities and industry best practices
  • Directs the operations of the Care Experience Improvement, Grievances and Concerns, Spiritual Care, Workforce Experience, Volunteer Services, and Equity programs, ensuring implementation of initiatives and service excellence
  • Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, safeguarding patient rights and mitigating compliance risks
  • Leads and supports the care experience team, fostering growth and professional development
  • Collaborates with senior leadership, department heads, and community partners to integrate care experience goals into broader organizational strategies
  • Leverages data and feedback to drive continuous improvement in care delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of professional experience in hospital or health system administration, operations, or patient experience
  • Three (3) years include supervising professionals
