We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Care Director to lead one of our client's premier aged care homes in Victoria. Only two hours from Melbourne! This is a high-impact role designed for a "leader of leaders"—someone who can navigate the complexities of modern clinical governance while fostering a warm, person-centered environment for residents and a supportive culture for staff.

Job Responsibility

Direct the nursing and care workforce, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and national legislative frameworks
Lead clinical governance reform, conduct gap analyses, and ensure 100% compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
Oversee the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS), clinical auditing, and risk mitigation strategies (falls prevention, medication safety)
Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting accountability, professional growth, and high performance
Act as the clinical point of contact for families, medical professionals, and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years in a senior clinical leadership role
Current AHPRA Registered Nurse division 1 registration
A genuine commitment to advocating for residents and supporting frontline staff
Proficiency in aged care software and a strong understanding of the AN-ACC funding model
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to lead difficult conversations with empathy and clarity
