Job Description

We are looking for a visionary and highly experienced Director of Care to take the clinical helm of a large-scale aged care residence in Regional Victoria. This is a pivotal leadership position requiring a mix of strategic clinical oversight, operational excellence, and a "people-first" approach. You will be responsible for the overall clinical safety, quality, and compliance of a significant facility, supported by a dedicated team of Clinical Managers and RNs.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide high-level clinical governance and ensure 100% compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Manage budgets, AN-ACC funding, and clinical resource allocation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and safety
  • Represent the facility in community and stakeholder engagements

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Clinical Care Management (CCM) or as a Care Manager within the Aged Care sector
  • Proven track record managing large-scale aged care homes (high bed numbers and large staff cohorts)
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (Division 1) registration
  • Must be willing to relocate to Regional Victoria
  • This is a full-time leadership position
