Within the role as the Care Coordinator, you are required to manage the organisation and delivery of care. You will manage a team of care assistants to support our service users in their own home to provide person centred care. This role is more than just rota management. Job Responsibility
Rostering and daily management of Care Staff who are based in the community
Working with multi-disciplinary teams and professional bodies to ensure outstanding care is delivered and to positively promote our services
Complete quality calls with care staff and service users
Provide reports to senior management as and when required
Provide support to our teams as part of a rostered-on call system
Manage referrals from commissioners and local authority
Ensure full capacity is utilised
Requirements
Experienced Co-ordinator / scheduler doing coordination and rota management
vibrant, self-motivated and passionate about making a difference to the lives of vulnerable people
Drive and Resilience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable on the phone as you are writing emails
Experience of working in a faced paced environment and flexible
Strong attention to detail and be a completer/finisher
A team player with strong interpersonal skills
Holding a full driving license and access to your own vehicle
Nice to have
Experience within the care sector
