At Avanti Homecare, we are on an exciting journey of growth. We are looking for an organised, compassionate and proactive Care Coordinator to support the smooth running of our Ripley branch. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to coordinate weekly rotas, support clients and care staff, maintain accurate records and help ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered every day. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicating with people and keeping things running efficiently. You will also take part in the management on-call rota which is paid in addition to salary: £30 per day for Monday - Fridays on-call and £60 per day for Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays on-call. On call will be one week in every four, including weekends, until 10:30pm. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Job Responsibility
Creating and managing weekly rotas that work well for both clients and the care team
Responding to rota changes, sickness, holidays and other day-to-day coordination needs
Supporting the onboarding of new care packages, including client assessments
Maintaining accurate client, carer and office records across our digital systems
Liaising professionally with clients, families, colleagues and external professionals
Supporting the care team with guidance, communication and problem-solving
Taking part in the on-call rota, one week in every four, until 10:30pm, paid in addition to salary
Covering care calls during office hours where needed.
Requirements
A minimum of one year’s experience supporting and caring for people
At least 6 month’s experience in an office-based role involving rota planning with digital systems
Strong IT skills, ideally including digital care planning systems
Strong experience in working with Microsoft Office or Google based software (or similar), email writing and managing an online diary
A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or working towards completion
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with the ability to travel to clients’ homes when needed
Living within a reasonable travelling distance of the Ripley branch.
