Kanda is seeking a highly organised and proactive Care Consultant to join our team in Underdale, South Australia. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in coordinating accurate and timely rosters that support effective service delivery across our programs. Working closely with internal teams and systems, you’ll help ensure workforce coverage aligns with operational and participant needs.
Job Responsibility:
Roster Coordination: Create, update, and maintain staff rosters to ensure services are appropriately resourced. Monitor changes, availability, and workforce requirements across programs
Shift Allocation & Coverage: Allocate shifts efficiently and respond to unplanned leave, cancellations, and urgent coverage requirements to minimise service disruption
Availability & Leave Processing: Process employee availability, leave requests, and roster adjustments in line with internal procedures, maintaining accurate scheduling records
Timesheets & Payroll Support: Audit timesheets for accuracy and SCHADS Award compliance. Liaise with payroll to resolve discrepancies and support timely processing
Compliance Monitoring: Track employee hours to ensure compliance with SCHADS Award conditions, fatigue management guidelines, and organisational policies
Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and timely communication with internal stakeholders regarding roster changes, shift confirmations, and workforce queries
Requirements:
Experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination, or a similar role
Confident using rostering systems and able to learn new software quickly
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to interpret and apply the SCHADS Award
Holds a current unencumbered Class C Driver Licence
Hold or willing to obtain: Working with Children Suitability Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening
