About the role: Providing care and assistance to service users in their own homes. Helping with daily tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, moving and handling, household tasks and general domiciliary care. Visiting various clients throughout the day and meeting their needs at the moment in time. The role will sometimes require you to work independently but on other occasions you may be paired up with another member of staff. The role can offer various shift patterns with full and part time availability able to be catered for. The role would require you to be able to drive between houses as the locations can be far apart from each other. About you: Previous experience in a similar role working in a care at home or community care environment. You are compassionate and caring towards others with a desire to help people. You must have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team liaising with wider teams to ensure the best level of care is provided. Be able to work under pressure and stay calm in stressful situations. Have a strong ability to work independently and use your own initiative. Qualifications: SVQ2 in Health and Social Care or HNC in Social Care (Desirable). Full UK Driving License and access to vehicle (Essential). Minimum of 1 year UK experience in a similar role.
