Be part of a small, committed team providing bespoke, person-centred support our client living in their own beautifully adapted bungalow in Cheshire
Work closely and creatively with family members to ensure a truly meaningful life and an outstanding standard of care in a friendly, fun environment
Support a varied weekly programme of purposeful activities, including: Community outings such as rebound therapy, zoo visits, parks and local attractions
Home-based activities including music therapy, massage, physiotherapy, foot spas, gardening and sensory experiences
Encourage and enable new opportunities and experiences with enthusiasm and creativity
Provide support with all aspects of daily living, including: Personal care
Preparing meals and cooking
Administering medication (including support relating to complex epilepsy, with specialist training provided)
Domestic duties
Shopping and general household tasks
Work 12-hour shifts, including nights, as part of a consistent and reliable rota
Requirements:

Excellent communication skills and confidence using your initiative and making decisions
Reliability and punctuality
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including nights
Access to a vehicle required, due to the geographical location of the role
Nice to have:
Ideally, previous experience supporting people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and/or complex epilepsy (though not essential as full training is provided)
Ideally a driver (use of a vehicle is part of the role)
Preferably a non-smoker
