Job Description

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team at Dovehaven Residential Home. Working 2 x 12 hour shifts - DAYS - 8am - 8pm OR NIGHTS - 8pm - 8am - on a rota basis *Alternate weekends required*. Dovehaven Residential Home is set in secure, mature landscaped gardens, near the sea front and marine lake. At Dovehaven we are a caring, friendly team who pride ourselves on providing a secure, happy and welcoming atmosphere for all residents and visitors and maintaining the home to a very high standard.

Job Responsibility

  • Work together with other staff in the running of the home
  • Maintain high standards of care and service towards service users, relatives, visitors and other members of staff
  • Provide a range of personal and practical care to residents

Requirements

  • Caring and sensitive to the needs of others
  • Committed to providing service excellence
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Able to provide emotional and social support
  • Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect
  • NVQ Level 2 health and social care is desirable
