We are seeking compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to support a young woman living at home with a genetic neurological and developmental condition and epilepsy. This is a rewarding, person-centred role that combines clinical care with meaningful daily engagement. Full training can be provided for the right candidate, but a caring attitude, patience, and professionalism are essential. Alongside clinical support, you will play an important part in making each day positive and enjoyable.
Job Responsibility:
Support a young woman living at home with a genetic neurological and developmental condition and epilepsy
Provide person-centred care
All aspects of personal care
Moving and handling
Administering medication
Managing nutrition including PEG feeding
Follow established care plans
Support overall wellbeing
Accompany her to a day centre three times a week for social activities
Accompany on regular outings (park, zoo, cinema, aquarium)
Support interests at home (pampering, painting nails, watching musicals and Disney films)
Help her live a full and enjoyable life
