Job Description

Dovehaven care homes are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team at Callands Nursing Home in Warrington. We currently have x3 possitions availible- Working four or three Nights 7pm-7am, or Four Days a week 7am- 7pm with everyother weekend availability required- 44hr or 33hr Contracts. Callands is a purpose-built care home that caters for up to 120 service users. The home specialises in dementia and nursing care. The home is to be maintained to very high standard and our team will provide a secure, happy and welcoming atmosphere for all residents and visitors.

Job Responsibility

Assist the care team in the daily running of the Home
Maintain high standards of care and service towards residents, relatives, visitors and other members of staff
Provide a range of personal care and emotional support to residents

Requirements

Experience within a similar role or setting
Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy in approach to caring for older people
Self-motivated
Resilient
Well-organised
Dependable
Able to work well under pressure
Flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the Home
