Dovehaven Care Homes are recruiting for a Care Assistant to join our team at Hope House in Accrington working DAYS or NIGHTS on a rota basis - 8am - 8pm OR 8pm - 8am - alternate weekend availability required! Hope House is a Nursing home catering for up to 42 residents, and our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable & happy as possible. Our homes promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the care team in the daily running of the Home
  • Maintain high standards of care and service towards residents, relatives, visitors and other members of staff
  • Provide a range of personal care and emotional support to residents

Requirements

  • Experience within a similar role or setting
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy in approach to caring for older people
  • Self-motivated
  • Resilient

  • Able to work well under pressure
