Job Description

As part of the Care Team, your role will include a variety of tasks to help all of our Residents to live comfortable lives, with the help and support that they need. No previous experience in care is required, as full training will be given.   • You will provide full supervision while he attends school, due to his high activity levels and falls risk
  • You will be required to support communication using Makaton and visual cues, and assist with feeding his parent-prepared pureed meals while monitoring closely for choking or aspiration
  • Alongside this you will need to provide personal care, oversee bowel movement monitoring, and maintain a calm, structured environment to support his ASD needs
  • Ensuring equipment such as the blue box and suction machine are ready, provide stimulating activities to prevent boredom, monitor skin integrity, and liaise with school staff to maintain consistency and safety throughout the day
