Job Description:

Firstcall 247 limited is one for the leading care company in UK and we looking for experienced healthcare assistants to work within our team. You will be working with various clients who have; elderly, dementia, Alzheimer’s, learning disability, end-of-life care, etc... We are looking for staff who are passionate and dedicated to providing high-quality care.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting the patient with bathing, grooming, and getting dressed
Handling household tasks like grocery shopping and laundry
Preparing and serving meals at the appropriate time
Administering oral and topical medication under the supervision of medical personnel
Providing mental and emotional support
Making recommendations to family members and healthcare personnel on the plan of care
Organising suitable recreational activities for the patient
Collaborating with other health care and social care professionals to provide the best possible care
Liaises with professional staff in carrying out care plans

Requirements:

No formal academic entry requirements
Must typically be 18 years old
Experience of working in a care environment
Background checks including a CRB check are likely to be required
Driving license and own car preferred

Nice to have:

NVQ in Care Level 3/4 or equivalent
SVQ 2 Health and Social Care
Previous experience working in an outpatient area within a care environment
To hold a Care certificate or be working towards this
Experience with the care industry would be greatly beneficial
