Job Description:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents
  • Deliver personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene, meals)
  • Help with daily activities in the home
  • Deliver care that comes from the heart
  • Support residents with limited mobility
  • Offer comfort to residents who are distressed
  • Provide compassionate end-of-life care
  • Put resident wellbeing first
  • Attend safeguarding training
  • Report concerns

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic and committed
  • Ability to support physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents
  • Ability to deliver personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene, meals)
  • Ability to help with daily activities
  • Ability to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect
  • Ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns
  • Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Comfortable with technology or open to learning
  • Willingness to attend safeguarding training
