Job Description

Join Alcedo Care Crewe as a Care Assistant working within the local areas Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Alsager, Congleton and surrounding South Cheshire and North Staffordshire areas. Excellent rates of pay £13.40 to £15.75 PLUS Pension PLUS Holiday Pay (equating to a Rolled Up pay rate of £15.47 – £18.18). We are offering a free DBS check! Immediate interviews available. Expected average hours – 20 to 40 hours plus per week. Shifts are flexible and we also have opportunities for short shifts or 12-hour shifts days or nights. Job Responsibility

  • Providing personal care including continence support, washing, dressing
  • supporting with medication, meal preparation and helping with household tasks
  • promoting people’s independence whilst bringing a real sense of joy to those you support

Requirements

  • Must be aged 18 or over due to the nature of the role, including personal care, unsupervised work with vulnerable individuals and the need to work flexible hours including late evenings and weekends
  • subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
  • no previous experience needed as all training is provided

  • Answer Nurse call system, giving assistance as required. Answer the door and telephone appropriately. Respond accordingly, and pass on messages promptly
