Job Description:

Would you like to continue your career with one of the most respected care charities? At Greensleeves Care we deliver exceptional 24-hour residential, dementia and nursing care to older people across our 28 care homes in England.

Job Responsibility:

Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice
Assist with preparing residents for bed and/or assist them in the morning
Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet
Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment
Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence
Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility

Requirements:

An understanding of the needs of residents
An understanding of the importance of confidentiality

Nice to have:

Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent
Experience of providing care
Experience of working with elders
