Job Description

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic people to provide support for disabled people to reach their full potential and improve their quality of life. Being a company lead by disabled people, we are motivated to provide our customers with positive community experiences, building their independence and having choice and control.

Job Responsibility

Provide support for disabled people to reach their full potential and improve their quality of life
Provide customers with positive community experiences, building their independence and having choice and control

Requirements

Be motivated to learn new skills and teach people new skills to increase their independence
Enjoy being around people with a learning disability and be motivated by their achievements
Driver Preffered
Understand the principles and be able to support people in a person-centred way
Follow individual support plans and have the ability to record the support accurately and reflectively
Be able to keep professional boundaries, within both personal and work life
Be reliable and consistent when providing support
Have excellent communication skills
Be able to work as part of a team, as well as be confident when lone working
Be flexible to support the needs of the customers
Previous experience working with disabled individuals is desirable
