Care and Support Worker

Meeting the individual care and support for residents in a way that respects their dignity and promotes their independence

• Strong work ethic and puts the resident needs first
• Hold an NVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care
• Experience in providing care to older people with varying levels of disability and or dementia
• Must be able to work between the hours 07.00 – 22.00 on a 8 hour shift pattern (5 days per week) over a 7 days rolling period
• Night shift patterns are 21.45 – 07.30
• Must undertake an enhanced DBS
• Good communication skills
• Caring and compassionate nature
• Understanding of the needs of older people

• Previous caring experience
• Empathy for others
• Willingness to learn and progress
