Job Description

Provide high-quality night-time care and support to residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort. Work as part of a dedicated team at Bridgewater House in London.

Job Responsibility

Deliver person-centred care to residents throughout the night
Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, and bedtime routines as required
Monitor residents’ needs and respond promptly to any emergencies or requests for support
Administer or prompt medication according to care plans and procedures
Record observations and update care documentation accurately
Liaise with colleagues and health professionals to maintain seamless care
Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality standards at all times

Requirements

Experience in a care or support environment, ideally night shifts
Compassionate, respectful, and reliable approach to care
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards qualification
Good written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

Basic first aid training or medication administration experience
