Job Description:

Citi is seeking a highly motivated SVP, Cards Investment & Planning Manager to lead our technology investment strategy, resource prioritization, and budget oversight for the Branded Cards & Lending business. In this critical role, you will coordinate strategic decisioning across a broad set of senior stakeholders, shaping the future of our technology investments. We are looking for a candidate with a proactive attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive investment evaluation framework
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities
  • Prepare clear and concise investment proposals and presentations for senior management
  • Facilitate decision-making among senior leaders to effectively prioritize investments
  • Establish and champion a transparent and well-organized prioritization process for projects and initiatives
  • Meticulously monitor and track the budget for investments and projects
  • Act as team subject matter expert in navigating Citi’s centrally managed Investments and Prioritization systems
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of investment and prioritization processes
  • Prepare regular, informative reports and presentations for senior management
  • Communicate proactively and effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Continuously evaluate and proactively improve existing investment and prioritization processes
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends in investment management and strategic planning

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services
  • Significant experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Positive attitude & work ethic
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team of diverse skill sets, cultures, and across functional areas
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Understanding of technology development cycle and familiarity with budgeting & prioritization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
