Job Responsibility

  • Execute No Limit Texas Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha cash games and tournaments
  • Maintain control of the game when dealing
  • Provide clear and confident communication to customers when announcing hands, bets, winners and game progress
  • Shuffle and deal cards
  • Calculate and pay winning bets
  • Manage pots accurately during games
  • Collect rake
  • Identify/act upon and report any irregularities or violations of house rules
  • Manage chip transactions for players
  • Answer questions and provide guidance on rules of the game
  • Provide entertainment and hospitality to customers
  • Comply with all relevant legislation
  • Immediately raise any Safer Gaming and Anti Money Laundering concerns with line manager
  • Maintain positive and upbeat attitude
  • Acknowledge players when they arrive at tables
  • Remain patient and polite with customers
  • Advise customers on MetCard loyalty programme
  • Deal all games in accordance with procedures including 'The Rules of the Game' and Gaming Manual
  • Conduct game commentary
  • Inform manager when customer displays behaviours associated with 'Problem Gambler'
  • Maintain awareness of customer body language indicating collusion or misconduct
  • Work to improve technical skills to improve game efficiency
  • Complete all mandatory training
  • Attend meetings, training workshops and communication events
  • Assist other dealers with informal coaching
  • Report security concerns to Gaming Supervisor
  • Check gaming equipment on allocated tables
  • Report all suspicious incidents
  • Uphold company commitment to protection of young and vulnerable people
  • Demonstrate key service behaviors: On It, Upbeat and Positive Attitude, Be Nice, Open and Close

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Poker dealer
  • Ability to host live tables
  • Fully aware of compliance and social responsibilities
  • Must be aged 18 or above
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Skilled in executing No Limit Texas Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha cash games and tournaments
  • Knowledgeable about all Safer Gaming and Anti Money laundering requirements
  • Must undertake regular associated training
  • Must be flexible in scheduling (nights, evenings, weekends, 24/7 trading week shifts)
  • Must be able to work directly with the public for large portions of shift

Nice to have

Ability to deal Mixed and Dealers Choice games (after further training)
