As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology to directly impact life-saving diagnostic and interventional procedures. Every day, you will expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance, meticulously preparing patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, and contributing critical data for interpretation. You'll ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment while maintaining mastery of our latest standards and protocols.

Procedures
Provides appropriate patient care during the performance of Cath and EP procedures
Ensures quality of imaging, image archival, and image acquisition
Ensures radiation safety practices are used for patients and personnel
Demonstrates proper working knowledge of sterile technique
Preparing patients for procedures
Acquires supplies and sets up sterile fields
Knowledgeable of specialty equipment set up and operation
Ensures hemostasis after procedures
Transports patients to and from the Cath/EP lab as needed
Participates in structural heart procedures
Must cross-train in two of the following areas: Cath🡪EP, EP🡪Cath room
Requirements:
5 years clinical experience in the CardiacCath lab/EP lab with advanced training in associated procedures
Medical Radiographer: AR, upon hire
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
Registered Cardiac Electr, upon hire
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, upon hire
Basic Life Support - CPR, within 90 Days
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
