Job Description:

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology to directly impact life-saving diagnostic and interventional procedures. Every day, you will expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance, meticulously preparing patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, and contributing critical data for interpretation. You'll ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment while maintaining mastery of our latest standards and protocols.

Job Responsibility:

  • Expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance
  • Meticulously preparing patients
  • Operating advanced radiologic equipment
  • Contributing critical data for interpretation
  • Ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment
  • Maintaining mastery of our latest standards and protocols
  • Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order
  • Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself
  • Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures

  • 5 years clinical experience in the CardiacCath lab/EP lab with advanced training in associated procedures
  • Medical Radiographer: AR, upon hire
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
  • Registered Cardiac Electr, upon hire
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 90 Days
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
