American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Paramedic license in the state of Iowa
BCLS
ACLS
Two years prior experience with general vascular and/or coronary angiography preferred
Current Active Iowa RT(R) Licensure or Paramedic license in the state of Iowa
Demonstrates skill and maturity in problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution
Demonstrates ability to make decisions and support rationale, clearly communicate decisions to relevant parties
Analyzes own performance in accordance with position expectations. Develops goals and implements a plan to meet those goals. Maintains own knowledge and skills

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - CCI - Cardiovascular
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA
Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH
Driver's License - DMV
Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
Less Than 1 year Cath Lab experience
RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire

Job Responsibility

Perform diagnostic imaging and procedures
Assist in electrocardiograms, catherizations, and pulmonary functions
Prepare EP Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients
Perform technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals
