Job Description

Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Cath Lab in Jacksonville, FL! This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a state-of-the-art facility. The RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire, supported by our dedicated team and resources. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. 4, 10 hour shifts Monday - Friday are offered with hours of 6:30am - 5:00pm with weekly extended hours if needed.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform diagnostic imaging and procedures
  • Assist in electrocardiograms, catherizations, and pulmonary functions
  • Prepare EP Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients
  • Perform technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals

Requirements

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT - ARRT
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - CCI - Cardiovascular
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA
  • Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH
  • Driver's License - DMV
  • Experience working in a Hospital setting
  • Less than 1 year Cath Lab experience
  • RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire
