Job Description:

The Program Coordinator is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating the effectiveness of the day-to-day operations of the Cardiovascular program in accordance with facility policies, service line objectives, and clinical standards. Accountable for program accreditation and/or certification by regulatory bodies.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • CA RN License (RN:CA)
  • BLS Life Support CPR(BLS-CPR)
  • BSN (Bachelor's of Nursing Diploma or by endorsement)
  • 4 - 6 Years of Acute Care experience
  • 1 - 3 years of Cardiovascular experience
  • Experience with Program Coordination
  • Requires advance knowledge in nursing, evidence-based practice methods, and person-centered care concepts
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and requirements

Nice to have:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RN's
  • MSN (Master's of Nursing)
  • Previous Leadership experience
  • Experience with data analysis and performance improvement
