Cardiothoracic Surgery PA

A hospital in South Carolina is seeking a locum tenens cardiothoracic surgery physician assistant to join their surgical team. In this role, you’ll provide OR support five days per week and share 1:3 call coverage for cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery. The group includes multiple surgeons, and the average surgical day consists of 2–3 cases. This assignment is focused on operative and inpatient care—there is no outpatient clinic involved. Responsibilities include assisting in the OR, performing inpatient rounds, and handling consults as needed. Hayes Locums will assist with credentialing and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
