Job Description

An Indiana based hospital is seeking a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to help at their facility as soon as possible. Candidates must be surgical PAs and must be experienced in vein harvesting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with shared call.

  • Work independently and efficiently with strong decision-making skills
  • Work with a variety of MDs, APPs and ancillary staff for inpatient management and coordination of patient care
  • Work in the inpatient setting on a daylight rotating four, 10-hour shift schedule with rotating weekend coverage
  • Travel may be required to other sites
  • Perform procedures, including bedside talc pleurodesis, autologous blood patch, TPA instillation, chest tube removal, pericardial drain removal, and wound vac placements
