Job Description

Performs and documents cardiology procedures as defined in departmental Scope of Care. Performs all modalities of stress testing, holter testing, EKG and/or cardiac event monitoring. Also performs clerical functions for unit.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Completion of a formal training in Electrocardiogram Technique and arrhythmias recognition and/or EMT license required
  • One year cardiovascular experience is preferred
  • MUSE Cardiology Information System experience preferred
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work with all age groups
  • Ability to develop positive interactions with co-workers and physicians
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • BLS required
  • EMT license required if in lieu of formal training in Electrocardiogram Technique and arrhythmias recognition

Nice to have

  • One year cardiovascular experience
  • MUSE Cardiology Information System experience
